Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfeeq Asharjabi held discussions here today with the Country Director of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Marc Schumacher.
The conversations covered a range of topics relating to water and sanitation challenges and the GIZ's projects and programs to improve services water and sanitation services.
The minister highlighted the pressing need for greater involvement by the GIZ to help the Ministry develop water and sanitation services.
Mr. Shumacher stated that his visit is intended to maintain the active cooperation with the Yemeni government in water and sanitation domain.
He stated that the GIZ is going to work on establishing its office in Aden as soon as possible.
