Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Sunday with the Regional Director of German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Mark Christof support to health sector and means of enhancing them.

Buhaibeh praised GIZ's support to health sector and its quality and type, pointing out to significance of directing part of the support to technical issues and transferring from emergency level into sustainable development.

For his part, the GIZ's official talked about significance of promoting cooperation between the ministry and the agency, pointing out that the agency is working on establishing an office to it in Aden to be a connecting link between the agency and Yemeni concerned bodies.

On the other hand, Minister Buhaibeh discussed with the team of Safe the Children headed by Regional Director of the organization Amahansrag the organization's plans in health field, including taking care of children and the mother and providing nutrition through supporting 180 health center and 25 hospitals across the country.

He demanded activating the organization's office in Aden, pointing out that the ministry will give it enough facilitations to implement its activities.
