Today, the Minister of Water and Environment, Eng. Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, and the Governor of Lahj Governorate, Major General Ahmed Turki, inaugurated work on the project to rehabilitate the Ghars Naji-Dandar pumping line (the second phase) and the Sabr-Fayoush water line project in Lahj Governorate, at a cost of 2.5 million dollars, financed by The World Bank .

Minister Al-Sharjabi stressed the importance of the project, which is considered a continuation of the first phase of the project, which will serve the population centers in the densely populated districts of Al-Houta and Tibn "Sabr".

The Minister of Water and Environment and the Governor of Lahj, from the Director of the Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation in Lahj Governorate, Adel Saeed, got acquainted with the location of the water wells, the site designated for the installation of the solar energy system, and they were briefed on the restoration work of the 10,000-cubic-meter reservoir in addition to the materials and equipment supplied to the Corporation. And the works carried out in the main station of Dandar for distributing water to citizens.
