Members of the National Committee to investigate allegations of human rights violations discussed in the interim capital Aden with the new sanctions committee team of the UN Security Council the facts of human rights violations committed recently and the most important changes on the ground and their impact on the protection and safety of civilians.
The Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Judge Hussein Al-Mashdali, reviewed a number of issues related to the latest developments in the work of the Committee and its geographical presence in all governorates through its field monitors, in addition to a number of tasks, including the operation of the Committee, referring to the files that have been investigated, which include all governorates and to the distinguished relationship between the committee and the team.
For its part, the Sanctions Committee team indicated that they were briefed and followed up on the work of the National Committee to investigate allegations of human rights violations and its tasks, stressing the committee’s keenness and interest in continuing cooperation related to the exchange of information and access to the truth of violations in various governorates due to the strong direct presence of the Committee in the field.
