Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Mohammad al-Zaori discussed Wednesday with Deputy Regional Director of International Labor Organization support of the organization to the Primary Strategy made by the ministry for creating work opportunities to youth and making partnership with ILO for financing the ministry's programs and activities.
The wo parties discussed support to the ministry's Anti-Children Labor Plan and the plan's importance, especially in current exceptional conditions Yemen is going through over Houthi militia's triggered war, which led to increasing numbers of working children.
He stressed necessity of mobilizing all international efforts to support long-term plans and strategies regarding anti-children work and reducing numbers of unemployment among youth, as well as support to the government to be able to continue its services to these groups of the society.
For his part, the international official confirmed continuous partnership and coordination with the ministry, confirming the organization's keenness of enabling youth to work and anti-children labor.
He also confirmed that the organization is working on taking youth from learning to gaining and is planning to implement this plan in a number of countries, including Yemen, praising the ministry's efforts in all fields.
