The Council of Minister held session today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik devoted to discuss the latest developments about economic situations and basic services.
The government's ongoing efforts to manage the economic hardships, electricity and water supplies and to secure strategic reserves of wheat and rice commodity were elaborately discussed.
The Cabinet also discussed underway communication with the officials in charge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to finalize necessary arrangements to receive the financial support for the Yemeni Central Bank and the state general budget.
The Council of Ministers touched upon the Houthi militias' continuous violations of the UN-brokered truce and its rejection to open routes to Taiz and other besieged cities.
The Cabinet called on the United Nations and International Community (IC) to mount pressures upon Houthi militias to get fulfill its legal obligations under the UN-truce agreement.
The Cabinet discussed a report by the Minister of Transport about the security insurance installments demanded by commercial ships for war risks and approved a draft bill proposed by the Minister of transport aims to reduce the high costs of insurances that will have positive impacts upon the imported basic commodity prices.
