Yemen's armed forces backed by the popular resistance force repelled two offensive operations launched by the Iran-backed Houthi coupist militia on army-held outpost in west and northwest of Marib on Saturday.

These hostile attacks were among 67 breaches of the UN-brokered truce on various battlefronts across the country, particularly in the governorates of Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Hajjah and Marib.

In the forefront of these violations was an offensive launched by the militia on army sites in al-Makhdara front, west of Marib, at 01:45, and another offensive operation at 19:30 on sites northwest of Marib.

The violations varied between artillery fire, various bullets, snipers and booby-trapped drones at army positions on various battle fronts, and resulted in the death of one of the army’s members and the wounding of two others by direct fire.

The Houthi militia also doubled the deployment of reconnaissance aircraft on various fronts, and digging long trenches in an attempt to surround important military sites, especially west and south of Marib.
