The National Committee to investigate allegations of human rights violations documented dozens of violations that affected citizens in Al-Qubaita district, north of Lahj governorate.
As part of the field visit to follow up on the conduct of serious and direct investigations into human rights violations in Yemen, the members and researchers of the commission listened to the testimonies of (83) victims and witnesses and informed people from the areas of Al-Shareja, Karish and Al-Huwaimi, about the abuse methodologies that affected them and led to the amputation of the limbs of dozens of residents and the mutilation of their bodies, especially women and children aged between two and nine years, and collecting and examining different evidence for these facts.
