Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Ankara Mohammed Tureik met today with the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
They discussed Yemeni-Turkish bilateral relations and coordination about economic, social and humanitarian issues of common interests.
Tureik detailed Çavuşoğlu on the latest developments in Yemen including the legitimate government's efforts to end the war, establish peace, calling for regional and international support for the Yemeni government's poly aiming to eliminate Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup, establish sustainable peace.
The Turkish Foreign Minister confirmed his country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the UN-led efforts to make peace in Yemen.
Çavuşoğlu reiterated Turkey's willingness to support Yemen in different fields, promising collaboration with the Yemeni embassy to overcome the difficulties facing the Yemenis in Turkey.
