Governor of Hodeida al-Hasan Taher discussed Thursday with Deputy Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs of the United Nations Digo Zoria and directors of the UN organization offices in Aden basic needs in liberated areas in the province.
Governor Taher reviewed humanitarian situations in liberated areas, confirming significance of the UN delegation's visit to the province for inspecting suffering of Hodeida people closely and working on carrying out sustainable projects to the displaced people and locals.
He touched upon needs of the province in field of education, health, water, sanitations, supporting displaced people, removing landmines, which killed hundreds of women and children, and enhancing World Food Program in the province.
For his part, the UN official pointed out that the aim of his visit to the province is to inspect the severity of humanitarian suffering and urgent needs and report on them to international partners to contribute in implementing them.
