Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah has said he will name a special envoy to him for Yemen to manage all different forms of support to Yemen in implementation to directives of Emir of Kuwait Nawwaf Al-Sabbah and his Crown Prince Masha'l Al- Sabbah and the government of Kuwait.
" Kuwaiti support to Yemen in the forthcoming period has started now and tangible results will be witnessed by the brotherly people soon," said Minister Al-Sabbah during state talks with the Yemeni governmental delegation headed by Foreign Minister Ahmed BinMubarak.
The delegation reviewed service and economic sectors of priority for quick support in the short and medium run.
The Yemeni delegation focused on significance of resuming projects financed by Arab and Kuwaiti funds, in addition to quick interventions to rehabilitate hospitals established by Kuwait in liberate provinces and providing imminent fuel shipment to electricity pledged by Saudi Arabia during the past few years in accordance with directives of King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz.
Chances of support to ground transportation, resumption of flights between Yemen and Kuwait and qualifying Aden Airport and Socotra Port.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti party confirmed response of the government of Kuwait to all forms of support to Yemen's different sectors within quick plan to absorb projects of priority to Yemeni people.
Deput Director of Kuwaiti fund for Development said that the fund is ready to reconsider and resume work in all current projects and commencing other projects of priority, especially in transport, telecommunications and food security fields.
