Ministry of Legal Affairs and Human Rights has found it odd that the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights used misleading approach in its media briefing on Friday, June, 3, 2022 on the UN Truce, which has been extended to two months.

"Unfortunately, the media briefing has been foggy in which it dealt with the legal government, which is committed to the truce along with the Arab Coalition and Houthi militias, which committed during the truce thousands of breaches, equally," said the ministry in a release on Friday.

The ministry made it clear that while the government works honestly on implementing its commitments within the joint plan with the UN and reports of the UN representative for children affairs, which these confirm government's commitment on banning recruiting children as soldiers, Houthi terrorist militia continues recruiting children and the numbers of recruited children have reached 40 thousand children during the past years.

The ministry condemned the misleading way of the UNHCHR, which must be honest and tell the international public opinion how these militias committed all these violations, which have been enough to fail the truce unless the government's patience and the Arab Coalition support to make the truce successful.
