Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik visited the General Office of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads in the temporary capital, Aden, to review the workflow, activities and programs implemented by it in various projects, infrastructure maintenance and urban development, and its plans for the coming period.

The Prime Minister toured the sectors and units of the Ministry, and listened from its employees to an explanation on the tasks being implemented, at the level of strategic projects in the roads and public works sectors, within the vital and important role of the Ministry in the reconstruction programs, in addition to the level of achievement in implementing a number of projects in the temporary capital. Aden and the liberated governorates, the challenges and plans to confront them.

After that, the Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the leadership of the ministry, during which they discussed plans to activate the vital sectors of the ministry to carry out its tasks, partnership with the international community in the areas of development, and mechanisms to complete the implementation of faltering projects and the search for funding for new strategic projects. The meeting discussed the difficulties encountered in implementing some projects and proposals to overcome them within the framework of the government's efforts for reconstruction by benefiting from the support provided and expected from Yemen's development partners from brotherly and friendly countries and donor organizations.
