The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, warned against the continuation of the terrorist Houthi militia affiliated with Iran in the operations of recruiting child fighters through the so-called "summer (education) centers".

He said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the terrorist Houthi militia's mobilization of tens of thousands of children in its areas of control with sectarian rhetoric imported from Tehran, and infusing them with dark ideas and slogans of hatred, violence and terrorism, will have dangers to the social fabric, civil peace and the values of coexistence between Yemenis.

Al-Eryani stressed that the Houthi militia's continuation of the policy of mobilizing and booby trapping the minds of children and recruiting them and deploying them on the battlefronts will represent a major obstacle to the efforts made by brotherly and friendly countries to establish peace and security.

Al-Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, and the UN and US envoys to carry out their legal and moral responsibilities, and to put real pressure on the leaders of the Houthi terrorist militia to stop the mass recruitment of children, hold those responsible for this crime accountable and prosecute them in international courts as war criminals.
