A Yemeni governmental team discussed, with a team from the United Nations, the efforts of the international community to help Yemen and Yemenis, build peace, alleviate human suffering, and achieve recovery in the service and economic fields .

The meeting held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, today touched on international efforts to provide humanitarian aid, support the government's plans to reduce the current global repercussions on the humanitarian situation, ensure economic stability, purchasing power, and enhance the provision of basic services to citizens.

The two sides also reviewed the effects of the ongoing truce on the humanitarian situation and its importance in improving and maintaining humanitarian access to those in need, providing to previously inaccessible areas, moving towards implementing long-term development, expanding areas of economic support to address the underlying drivers of the crisis, and building on the current truce to find a sustainable and just solution.
