Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Bahebeh said" Health sector in Yemen has been the most affected by the armed conflicts and war since the Houthi militia's coup in 2014".
His statement came as he delivered speech today at the 75th Session of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization (WHO) held in Geneva.
He provided a detailed presentation about health situations in Yemen, citing the government's plans and efforts aiming to improve health services and control pandemics.
Dr. Bahebeh highlighted the need for a collective international action to control malaria as it happened in dealing with coronavirus.
