Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmad Ghaleb discussed Wednesday with Charge d'affaires of US Embassy in Yemen Christopher Deutsch promoting partnership and coordination between the two parties.
Ghaleb touched upon latest economic conditions under a number of internal and external changes, especially Ukraine's crisis, and necessary international support to Yemen to face effects of this crisis on food security.
He confirmed government's seriousness to take all necessary measures and means to tackle mistakes and realizing money exchange stability, confirming that Yemen is still needing more support, especially in this critical period.
He called upon all doners and international organizations working in Yemen to transfer funds into the Central Bank of Yemen in the Transitional Capital of Aden, confirming that the bank will ease all procedures for this purpose.
He pointed out to efforts of Saudi Arabia and the UAE for their support to the central bank and support to the government in different domains.
For his part, the US diplomat confirmed his country's continuous support to the government of Yemen, praising the government for taking all measures to realize exchange stability and improving economic level.
He pointed out to importance of continuous cooperation between Yemen and the US in all fields to realize stability.
