The Iranian Houthi militia continued its violations of the truce for the eighth consecutive day on the battlefronts in the governorates of Marib, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Al-Hodeidah, Taiz and Al-Dhalea.

According to a report by the Armed Forces Media Center, the National Army monitored 72 breaches of the truce committed by the Iranian Houthi militia on Saturday, April 9, 2022, including 11 breaches of the truce on the fronts of the West Coast, 10 breaches of the truce on the fighting fronts in Marib Governorate, and 19 breaches on the fighting fronts in Taiz. and Al-Fakher fronts in Al-Dhalea, 17 violations in the fronts in western Hajjah governorate, 11 in the fronts east and north of Al-Jawf, and 4 in Ragwan and Al-Kasara fronts.

The report indicated that the violations varied between targeting the positions of the army forces including with artillery fire, in addition to attempts to infiltrate, move, create new military sites, dig trenches, and fly reconnaissance drones.

The report said, "For the eighth day, the militia continued to send human and equipment reinforcements to most of the fronts, as well as sending vehicles with machineguns on the southern fronts in the Ma'rib Governorate."
