The Iranian Houthi militia escalated its violations of the truce for the seventh straight day on the battlefronts in the governorates of Marib, Al Jawf, Saada, Hajjah, Hodeidah, Taiz and Al Dhale'a.
The Armed Forces Media Center stated in a report that the army monitored 141 such violations on Friday, April 8, 2022, including 44 breaches on the frontline west of Hajjah, 43 on the fronts of Taiz, 25 breaches in the western and southern outskirts of Marib, 18 breaches in the Al-Barah and Hays istrict in Hodeidah, 8 breaches in the fronts to the east and north of Al-Jawf, and three breaches in the Kataf Al-Boqa'a front in Saada and the Al-Fakher front in Al-Dhale'a.
The report indicated the violations varied from targeting army positions on all fronts with artillery and bullets, in addition to constructing new roads for military mobility facilitation and deploying snipers in several locations.
The report pointed out that for the seventh day, the militia equipment continued to send human reinforcements and to most of the fronts, including 29 pick up cars carrying individuals and ammunition.
