Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue kicked-off its discussions today at the HQ of the GCC's General Secretariat here in the Saudi Capital Riyadh under the auspices of the GGC.
The GCC's Secretary General Dr. Nayef al-Hajraf urged the Yemeni parties to engage constructively in consultations that can help bring about the urgently needed political settlement to the conflict and establish peace.
In his opening remarks he said" Peaceful solution is the only single way to resolve the crisis in Yemen and the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations provides a platform to move the country from the warfare to the peace".
He went on saying" The Riyadh Agreement is roadmap for Yemen, getting its article implemented in full is a Yemeni demand, and the success of the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations isn't an option but a reality must be fulfilled".
Al-Hajraf stressed that it is very necessary to put all inner disputes aside and contribute effectively and constructively to reach the required and urgent national consensus that can produce a clear-cut roadmap to the future to re-establish stability in Yemen and achieve development and prosperity to the Yemeni people.
