Yemen's Information Minister has said the inaction of the international community in the face of the subversive policies of the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxy militia of Houthis has exacerbated the Yemeni crisis and destabilized security and stability in the region.

Muammar Al-Eryani told Saba in a statement that the international community's failure to carry out its legal duties regarding the Houthi militia's 2014 coup d'état and ensuing war and war crimes against the Yemeni people as well as the Iranian regime's interference in the affairs of Yemen as a UN member state has all contributed to the rise of Iran's Houthis' terrorist activities.

Eryani said that the terrorist militia have perceived the international silence and inaction a green light to go on with barbarism against civilians, and escalated aggression against Yemeni governorates and Yemen's neighboring countries, and endangering international shipping lanes, and undermining all efforts being made to calm down and find a political solution to the crisis.

Al-Eryani added, "The continuation of this international inaction regarding Iranian interference in Yemen, and the criminal practices of the Houthi militia, which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, will have catastrophic results, and the price will be paid by the whole world, and the political, economic and security evidence for that is now visible."
