Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah underscored the pressing need for more humanitarian actions to meet the increasingly growing needs of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in the governorate.
He called on the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and UN's agencies operate in relief and humanitarian field to increase their interventions in Marib where IDPs have continued to arrive on daily basis.
His remarks came during his meeting today with the Deputy Head of the IOM Mission in Yemen Mathew Hoper.
