Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to participate in the first round of the World Defense Show 2022, at the invitation of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Prime Minister, along with a group of political and military figures from around the world, will participate in this event, which is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries in Saudi Arabia, and will receive the pioneers of the defense and security sector around the world from March 6 to 9, 2022, and focuses on the future of the defense industry by reviewing the latest developments and the technology that the world has reached, especially in the field of operational compatibility across various defense sectors. In a statement to Saba upon his arrival, the prime minister said that this global event, sponsored by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, consolidates the leading economic position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its influential presence at the international level, noting the accelerated pace at which the Kingdom is implementing the Vision 2030, including the localization of more than 50 percent of military spending.
