GENEVA-SABA
Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights Ahmed Arman said" Yemen's safe and prosperous future won't be realized unless Houthi militia's coup is eliminated and steadfast bases established for comprehensive and sustainable peace that ensure coexistence, growth and development for all Yemenis.
As he contributed today to the 49th Session of Human Rights Council (HRC) held in Geneva Arman appealed for the International Community (IC) to support the Yemeni people to stop the ongoing war, put down the militia's coup and establish peace as soon as possible.
The Minister vehemently called on the IC and HRC to take necessary measures that can help protecting the civilians and IDPs from the Houthi militias' terrorist attacks and atrocities.
He cited a long list of the Houthi militias' grave violations and crimes against the Yemeni peoples including ballistic missiles and drones attacks on residential areas, use the civilians as human shields, besieging villages and cities, arbitrary arrests, kidnapping, torture, recruiting children, planting landmines and blocking the delivery of humanitarian aids.
