The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs has confirmed that it has taken measures to facilitate departure of 22 Yemeni citizens from Ukrainian territories to nearby countries.

"Yemen's embassy in Warsaw has facilitate procedures of crossing Ukrainian border by 18 Yemeni citizens to Polish territories," said the ministry in a release issued on Monday, adding that Yemen's honorary consulate in Romania facilitated crossing four others to Romanian territories.

The ministry pointed out that it is following up with its diplomatic missions in nearby countries conditions of Yemeni citizens and is communicating and coordinating with concerned authorities for securing their departure from Ukraine to nearby countries safely.
