Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik was briefed by the Ministry of Electricity and Energy and the General Electricity Corporation and its subsidiaries, on the timetabled executive plans to implement the decisions of the Supreme Council of Energy and the Council of Ministers regarding raising the level of power generation to meet the needs of next summer.

In a meeting in the temporary capital Aden with the leadership of the Ministry of Electricity and the General Electricity and Electricity Corporation of Aden, , the Prime Minister stressed that everyone should make all efforts to carry out the duties and tasks entrusted to them ..noting that the diagnosis of the problem has become clear and the time is now for real treatments that are reflected in improving performance service and alleviating the suffering of citizens.

The meeting reviewed the procedures for implementing the decisions of the Supreme Council of Energy and the Council of Ministers, regarding improving the electricity service, raising the level of power generation and improving the electrical grid, in addition to procedures for reducing losses, and preparations for meeting the needs of the coming summer.
