Saudi Air Forces' defenses managed today to thwart an attempted cross-borders hostile action by laden-explosives drone fired by Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia toward Abha international airport, to deliberately and systematically target the civilians travellers and workers at the airport.

The Spokesperson of the "Coalition Forces in support of legality in Yemen" Brigadier Turki al-Maliki stated that due to the interception of the drone some scatters fell down inside internal venue of the airport. As a result 12 persons sustained minor injuries and limited material damages.

The injured people included two Saudi citizens, four Bengalese, three Nepalese, one Pilipino, one Sri Lankan and one Indian.

Al-Maliki said" Against these immoral violations of Iran-sponsored Houthi militia, the Command of Coalition Joint Forces will take measures and carry out necessary operations in response to the threat and neutralize the menace to ensure the protection of civil entities and civilians in conformity with the humanitarian international law and its conventional rules".
