Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Marwan Noam said" Houthi militias have recruited more than 30 Yemeni children, engaged them in frontline battles against the Yemeni people to serve the militia's agenda".
His statement came as he contributed to the sessions of the Executive Bureau of the UNICEF held today in New York.
Noman stated that the Yemeni government has been working in collaboration with the UNICEF to carry out the Action-Plan aims to end the children recruitment in the armed conflict. The government and the UNICEF signed on the Action-Plan in 2014.
