Shabwa Governor Awad al-Wazir called on brotherly and friendly countries to help Shabwa overcome the effects of the Houthi aggression on the Bayhan district, rid its lands of various minefields, and renormalize life and get the local authorities practice their work.
Thegovernor pointed out, during a virtual meeting with the French ambassador to our country, Jean-Marie, the size of the problem left by the Houthi militia, and the extent of its danger to society in the districts of Bayhan, pointing to the extraction of many Houthi mines in the district.
He praised the Yemeni and Saudi efforts to decontaminate the districts of Bayhan, Ain and Usaylan from Houthi mines, and restore security and stability to Shabwa with the contribution of all its people of and their keenness to work together to eliminate all factors and causes of chaos.
For his part, the French ambassador expressed his happiness at the first meeting with the governor of Shabwa, expressing his desire to visit Shabwa Governorate in the future, stressing his country's support for all efforts made to bring peace to Yemen.
