Minister of Legal and Human Rights Affairs Ahmad Arman discussed Thursday with UN Resident Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen David Gresley promoting cooperation in field of capacity building of state institutions and Civil Society Organizations.
Arman reviewed difficult conditions in areas under Houthi militia's control and the militia's continuous crimes against civilians; shelling their areas, recruiting children as soldiers, illegal arrest of citizens and kidnapping women, pointing out to efforts of the government towards released women from Houthi militia's prisons.
For his part, the UN official confirmed keenness of evaluating needs regarding implementation of cultural activities on human rights and capacity building in field of law and prisons.
