Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak discussed Wednesday with Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council Nayef al-Hajraf via visual communication latest developments in Yemen and coordinating positions and views towards different issues of common concerned.
Bin Mubarak talked about significant support by GCC countries to Yemeni government's efforts and providing swift economic support to it, confirming that economic stability and regaining development track is the prime entrance to solve the humanitarian crisis and improving services to citizens.
He pointed out to quick action and coordination with international and regional forums to disclose Hothi militia's crimes and its rejection to peace initiatives.
For his part, al-Hajraf confirmed the firm position of the GCC towards Yemen, its unity, security and stability and its support to the internationally-recognized government under the presidency of President Hadi and to efforts exerted for realizing peace in accordance with the three agreed upon references for peace.
He also confirmed significance of international community's responsibilities towards Houthi militia's aggression against Yemeni people and neighboring countries.
