Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today here in the temporary capital Aden the Royal Netherlands Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Peter-Derrek-Hof.
The discussions dealt with the latest developments in Yemen, Houthi militia's violations and civilians, IDPs and recurrent attacks on the civil facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the militia's hostile practices against the humanitarian actions.
Dr. Ma'een highly appreciated the Netherlands' substantial support for the development process and its significant contribution to the humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
He also touched upon the government's plans and efforts to improve the economy and allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering, citing the needed international assistance in this regard.
The Dutch diplomat affirmed his country's keenness to support the Yemeni government's efforts to manage the economic challenges.
He also stated that the Netherlands is keen to further enhance bilateral relations between the two countries in different fields.
