Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned, in the strongest terms the forcible disappearance of Intisar Al Hammadi in the detentions of the Iran-affiliated terrorist Houthi militia for a year now.

In a press statement, Muammar Al-Eryani indicated that the artist and model, Intisar Al Hammadi, is subjected to various types of psychological and physical torture, beatings, and forced haircuts, after fabricating malicious accusations against her and issuing illegal sentences to imprison her for 5 years.

Eryani called on artists, intellectuals, jurists, various cultural and artistic forums in Yemen and the world, and human rights organizations to stand in solidarity with the tragedy of Intisar Al-Hammadi and her family, and to put pressure on the Houthi militia to release her immediately in light of fears that she will keep trying to commit suicide, after several failed attempts.

Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, UN and American envoys and organizations concerned with women's rights, to condemn the crimes committed by the Houthi militia against Yemenis, including women and to put real pressure on the militia to release Al Hammadi, and hundreds of forcibly disappeared persons in the militia's detention centers.
