KSrelief signs cooperation treaties with IOM support to displaced people

King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center or (KSrelief) singed Wednesday two cooperation treaties with the International Organization for Migration for distributing relief aid to displaced people in Yemen worth USD 20 million.
The General Monitor of KSrelief Abdullah al-Rabi'ah and General Director of the International Organization for Migration Antonio Vitorino signed the treaty through visual communications.
According to the first treaty, shelter and food substances will be secured and distributed to displaced people in provinces of Taiz, Marib and Hodeida.
The second treaty includes swift intervention in water and sanitation fields in a number of provinces aiming at providing sources of drinking water to more needy areas and reconstructing infrastructure of water and sanitation and contribution in health edification, personal hygiene and capacity building and training to more than 50 thousand people with the cost of USD 5 million.
Al-Rabi'ah confirmed that the two treaties will help displaced people and hosting community in field of food and shelter and will help reducing humanitarian effects of those wronged by Houthi militia.
For his part, Vitorino confirmed that the two signed treaties reflect strategic cooperation between the organization and the center, confirming rejection to any type of targeting displaced people and African Refugees.
