'MASAM' removes 2427 Houthi-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" extracted 2427 landmines in the first week of January 2022 all planted by Iran-allied Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni governorates.
The Center reported that MASAM managed to pull out 110 anti-personnel and 1684 anti-tanks landmines, 608 unexploded ordinances and 25 explosive devices.
This bring total landmines removed by MASAM since it has started its demining mission in Yemen up to 303 thousand and 279 laid down randomly everywhere in Yemen by Houthi rebels.
