Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basoheib, and Deputy Minister of Public Works and Roads, Dr. Muhammad Thabet, discussed today in the city of Mocha with the Director-General of the Directorate, Basem Al-Zuraiqi, the technical and engineering studies prepared by the local authority to implement road projects, including the restoration and rehabilitation of bridges and ferries, and the repair of a number of main and secondary roads with cracks.
The Deputy Minister of Public Works confirmed that the ministry will approve these projects and include them in its annual plan.
The Director General of the Directorate touched upon the developmental achievements and the return of work in the port, the need to finalize the implementation of the water project of Mocha and the efforts made by the local authority, which require support from the Ministry of Planning to complete the procedures urgently.
The meeting touched on the vision of the local authority in prioritizing the needs of Mocha and coastal districts in terms of sustainable projects and interventions, as well as the general situation of humanitarian work in Mocha implemented by operating organizations.
