The Ministry of Public Health and Population sent a diverse medical convoy from the temporary capital Aden and the city of Mukalla in Hadhramaut Governorate to Shabwa Governorate, with the support of the World Health Organization.

The Director-General of the National Center for Emergency and First Aid, Mansour Al-Hubaishi, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that a medical convoy from the National Drug Supply Program in Aden and the World Health Organization warehouses in Aden and Mukalla all set out sending more than thirty tons of medicines, medical and surgical supplies and intravenous solutions to supply Ataq General Hospital and the rest of the health facilities in Ataq and Usaylan, which receive the wounded as a result of the military operations against the Houthi militias in Shabwa governorate.

Al-Hubaishi indicated that this emergency quantity, which was managed by the Ministry of Health with the support of the World Health Organization, will alleviate the urgent needs of medicines and medical supplies in health facilities receiving the wounded in Ataq and Usaylan.
