PM concludes his official visit to the UAE

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik concluded today several-day official trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in response to an invitation from the Emirati leadership.

He described the visit as successful and fruitful in terms of further enhancing the fraternal relations between the two countries. He told reporters that his talks with senior Emirati officials were constructive, they demonstrated full understanding of the different issues in the Yemeni national arena, they are also willing to support Yemen and the Yemeni people at this critical stage.

During his visit he conducted talks with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan over topical issues in Yemen including countering Houthi militia's escalation, the efforts to put Riyadh Agreement in place in full and the UAE's role in supporting the Yemeni government's efforts to achieve economic stability.

The Prime Minister also met with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed al-Maktom, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Governor of Dubai as well as a number of senior Emirati officials.

A high rank delegation accompanied the Prime Minister included the ministers of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Badhib, Telecom and Information Technology Najeeb al-Aqweg, Agriculture and Fishery Salim Assocatri, Oil and Minerals Abdussalam Ba-Abood, Industry and Trade Mohammed al-Ashwal, Health and Population Qasem Bahebeh and Education Tareq al-Akbari.
