Marib - Saba
The Erada Organization to Combat Torture and Enforced Disappearance has documented the killing of 200 hostages and forcibly disappeared persons under systematic torture in the prisons of the Houthi coup militia during the past seven years.
The head of the organization, Jamal Al-Maamari, said in a press conference held today in the city of Marib that brutal torture, ill-treatment and denial of primary health care caused the disability of hundreds of hostages and forcibly disappeared in the prisons of the coup militias.
He said that the militia uses more than 13,000 kidnapped and forcibly disappeared persons as human shields, endangering their lives in flagrant violation of all international laws and covenants; It detains them in armaments depots, training camps, and its headquarters, which are vulnerable to targeting by coalition warplanes since these sites are legitimate military targets used by the militia for its hostile military activities.
