Today, the sixth batch of oil derivatives grant provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen to operate power stations in the liberated governorates was received at the oil port in the Buriqa district in the temporary capital Aden. The amount of the sixth batch is 90,000 metric tons, of which 60,000 are tons of diesel.
On Thursday, a ship loaded with diesel fuel arrived at the oil port, while another ship loaded with the specified amount of diesel will arrive in the coming days, in order to complete the arrival of the sixth batch in full, bringing the total quantities of diesel to 394 thousand tons, out of the quantities specified in the oil grant agreement amounting to 909,591 metric tons of diesel.
The Saudi oil derivatives grant comes as an extension of the support provided by the leadership of the Kingdom, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman, to Yemen in all fields, and an affirmation of the bonds of brotherhood and strong ties between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and to strengthen the pursuit of the Kingdom to contribute to the stability of fuel prices to operate power stations, contribute to raising the productive power of the Yemeni people, improve services for all vital sectors, develop infrastructure and improve basic services inside Yemen, reduce frequent power cuts and improve the daily living of Yemeni citizens.
