Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Islamabad, Pakistan, Mohammed al-Ashbi contributed today to the deliberations of the extraordinary session of the Foreign Ministers of the member state of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) about the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
The discussions held in the Pakistani capital with the aim of mobilizing regional and international humanitarian efforts to help the Afghani people managing the humanitarian crisis and economic hardship they are struggling with.
Al-Ashbi confirmed the republic of Yemen full solidarity with the Afghani people, expressing Yemen's support to the role of the OIC in prompting regional and international relief and humanitarian actions in Afghanistan.
