Yemen participated in the Conference of the States Parties to the International Convention against Corruption held in Egypt.

The national delegation is chaired by the Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Aridhah, and the membership of the President of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority Judge Afrah Badwillan, and the Permanent Ambassador of Yemen to the United Nations Office in Vienna Haitham Shuja Al-Din.

In his speech, the Minister of Justice stressed the importance of the international community's support for the Yemeni people to restore state institutions, end the coup of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, and support efforts to achieve security and stability.

Judge Al-Aridhah reviewed Yemen’s efforts to combat corruption by ratifying the International Convention against Corruption under Law no. 47 of 2005, according to which Yemen became one of the parties to this agreement.
