Aden - Saba
The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani said that the honoring of the head of the "government" of the Houthi coup militia's honoring of Al-Qaeda figure Aref Saleh Ali Mujali, and the appointing of him as a deputy governor of Sanaa governorate, for his role in the mobilization and recruitment operations within the Houthi militia, confirms the alliance and coordination between the two the Houthi militia and Al-Qaeda since the coup.

Eryani said that the terrorist Aref Mujali, whose nickname is (Abu Laith Al-San’ani), is one of the most dangerous leaders of Al-Qaeda with a record of complicity in a number of terrorist operations, including the bombing of the French oil tanker (Limberg) in the port of Mukalla in 2002 AD, and attacking security checkpoints.

He was in the Political Security prison but at one point of time escaped from it.

Al-Eryani indicated that the terrorist Mujali is the brother of two of the organization's leaders, and the son-in-law of the prominent leader in the ranks of Al-Qaeda Fawaz Al-Rubaie, one of the main suspects in the bombing of the US destroyer (USS Cole), who was killed in a security operation in 2006.

He stressed that these facts prove the security and intelligence cooperation between the Houthi militia, Al-Qaeda and ISIS as an extension of the two parties' relationship with the Iranian regime.
