Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Police Sector, Major General Muhammad Musaed Al-Amir, stressed the importance of international cooperation in combating terrorism and organized crime through border security monitoring, with the aim of facing common security challenges.
In his speech at the end of the first Euro-Arab Border Security Conference, which concluded today, Thursday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, Al-Amir, pointed out the importance of coordination and exchanging information and experiences between experts in border management between countries and border control with the respect of human rights taken into consideration.
Major General Al-Amir stressed the need to develop a constructive dialogue with partners in the field of combating crime and enhancing border security, through the application of border security protection protocols.
