On the sidelines of their participation in the meetings of the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Yemen's Deputy Industry Minister Salem Al-Wali and the head of Customs Authority Abdulhakim Al-Qobati discussed with the Secretary-General of the United Nations Trade and Development Organization (UNCTAD) Rebecca Greenspan, strengthening the relations of mutual cooperation between the two sides in the field of trade and customs.
The Deputy Minister of Industry praised the relations of cooperation between the two sides, and the support provided by the organization to our country in the field of trade and development.
For his part, Al-Qobati reviewed aspects of the continuous cooperation between Yemeni customs authority and UNCTAD, which began in the year 2000 through the automated system program (ASYCUDA), which Yemeni customs uses until today, being the most famous customs data management system in the world, used by more than 90 countries.
