Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh met Wednesday with Qatari Prime Minister, the Minister of Interior Khaled bin Khalifa Al Thani discussing with him latest developments in Yemen and mutual relations between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting touched upon a number of issues led by Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup against the state's institutions in Yemen and its disastrous impacts on the social fabric and relations with neighboring countries.
He praised Arab and international integration towards Yemen's issue and their support to internationally-recognized government in Yemen.
For his part, the Qatari Prime Minister welcomed the visit of Vice President and the accompanying delegation, renewing confirmation of deep-rooted relations and support of Qatar to Yemen and to its security, stability and unity.
He also confirmed Qatar's support to efforts of reaching a peaceful solution in consistent with references and foundations of Yemeni people.
