Yemen's Ambassador to Kuwait Mansour bin Sifa' discussed Monday with Assistant of Kuwaiti Foreign Minister for Gulf Cooperation Council's Affairs Hamad al-Marri latest developments in Yemen and continuous military escalation by Houthi militia on Marib Province.
Houthi militia has been shelling the province by ballistic rockets and bombe drones since February this year, killing and injuring hundreds of people, most of them women and children, said bin Sifa'.
He reviewed the negative and sabotage role or Iranian regime in inciting for the war in Yemen through its continuous support to Houthi militia by smuggled weapons and sending experts and fighters, as wells transferring technology of using ballistic rockets and drones to Houthi militia to destabilize the security of Yemen and the region.
He pointed out to reports of UN experts on Yemen, which monitored many incidents demonstrating Iranian support to Houthi militia, confirming that this involvement of Iranian regime is considered stark violation to relevant Security Council's resolutions and contributes in prolonging the war and fails International efforts for realizing peace in the country.
