Al-Sallal discusses with Canadian Minister situations of Yemeni community

Ambassador of Yemen to Canada Jamal al-Sallal has discussed with Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion Ahmed Hussein latest developments in Yemen and mutual relations between the two countries.

In the supposed meeting held through visual communications on Sunday, al-Sallal addressed situations of Yemeni community and Arab communities and importance of finding out programs help new migrants to integrate with Canadian society to be included in labor market.

Al-Sallal confirmed keenness of the government of Yemen on ending the war and realizing peace in accordance with the three internationally agreed upon references.

He briefed the Canadian minister on the dangerous situation of Safir Oil Tanker and the serious threat posed by long-stranded tanker on the Red Sea's marine environment and international trade, pointing out to the difficult humanitarian situation in Yemen over the war and corona pandemic.

He called on Canada to help Yemen face these crises and to contribute in reconstruction efforts in Yemen, developmental projects and to boost the government to regain state institutions and order in the country.

For his part, the Canadian minister expressed readiness of his country to contribute actively in reconstruction in Yemen and support to the government and state institutions, confirming keenness of Canadian Government on including all migrants through federal projects supported by the government.
