The National Committee to Investigate Alleged Human Rights Violations held Sunday elaborated meeting with officials of development and projects at a number of European Union countries' embassies.

In the meeting attended by the Chairman of the Committee and directors of projects of embassies of France, Germany and Netherlands and European Union, latest security and military developments and their impact on human rights, increasing violence, necessity of investigating human rights violations, access to victims and means of cooperation with EU embassies with the committee were discussed.

The chairman and members of the committee discussed new field work mechanisms, types of violations the committee investigates, recent steps accomplished by the committee for activating accountability, referring violators to justice and preparing legal files for the interest of transitional justice insurances.

For their part, the representatives of the EU countries confirmed their support to the committee and facilitating difficulties it faces and supporting its great efforts of documenting violations committed against Yemeni people.
