The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak discussed Saturday with Libyan Foreign Minister Najla'a Manqoush on the sidelines of Manama Dialogue mutual relations between the two countries and latest developments in the region, particularly Libya and Yemen.
Bin Mubarak reviewed political and economic situations in Yemen and Houthi militia's rejection to peace initiatives and its continuous military escalation in different provinces in implementation to Iranian destructive agenda.
He pointed out to significance of Marib's battle and the struggle of National Army and the people popular resistance against Houthi militia and beating it.
He expressed hope of success of the democratic transfer process in Libya in the forthcoming days and hoped regaining order in Libya.
For her part, the Libyan Foreign Minister expressed keenness of her country for supporting Yemen's internationally recognized government and Yemen's unity, security, stability and sovereignty.
She also expressed support to international efforts in realizing peace in Yemen and ending the war on the basis of the three internationally agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
